LATEST NEWS

It's taken months, but even the mainstream media is sick of the speakership soap opera they've giddily keyed up since the start of last year. Enough already, MSNBC's Michael Steele barked at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) after her latest vow to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.). "It won't work," the co-host of "The Weekend" argued, and it's just more proof that the Georgia congresswoman doesn't give a rip about her own party.

On April 8, The Daily Wire's Michael Knowles went to The University of Utah to give a speech, sponsored by Young America's Foundation (YAF), on the problems with transgender ideology. Following the pattern of what many conservative speakers face on college campuses, Knowles was met with protestors. It later became evident that these protests were a part of the school's "Pride celebration" that had been extended an additional week by Philip Osteen, the dean of the university's College of Social Work.

On April 24, President Joe Biden signed a bill into law that could potentially ban the widely popular social media app TikTok in the U.S. unless the app's parent company divests itself from Chinese ownership. But experts say that despite the move to counter the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) data warfare tactics, the administration is not treating the threat with the seriousness it deserves.

It's plain to see how LGBT ideology has infiltrated schools, hospitals, government, and other aspects of everyday life. But most tragically, it's infiltrated many churches too. Recently, among the slew of churches departing from biblical truth, the United Methodist Church (UMC) made a decision that turns biblical teaching on its head. Although the topic of homosexuality has been debated within the denomination for some time, the UMC publicly embraced LGBT ideology as a church last week.

The South Carolina Senate voted 28-8 Thursday to protect minors from gender transition procedures by passing the Help Not Harm bill (H. 4624). The legislation passed despite Democratic efforts to derail the bill, and it now heads to the statehouse. The legislation "protects our culture and our society, not just protecting them from harm, but a complete violation of who they are, their identity," Palmetto Family Council President Steve Pettit told The Washington Stand. "It's an acceptance of who we are by creation. It protects our whole society from accepting something that is not true."

Actor Bernard Hill's inspired characterization of Theoden doesn't appear until almost halfway through the "The Two Towers," but he is one of the most memorable figures in the legendary "The Lord of the Rings" films and in Tolkien's literary masterpiece. In no small part, Theoden is such a beloved character because he epitomizes the moral man in the modern world.
