LATEST NEWS

In early April, 16-year-old high school student Christian McGhee faced severe backlash at Central Davidson High School in Lexington, North Carolina for using the term "illegal aliens" in his English class. His comment resulted in a three-day suspension and was met with threats and bullying upon his return. On Tuesday, the Liberty Justice Center (LJC) filed a lawsuit against the Davidson County Board of Education.

With American voters listing immigration among their top concerns heading into the November elections, the Biden administration does not appear to be changing course on policies to address the border crisis, as record numbers of illegal immigrant apprehensions continue to mount, the quantity of taxpayer dollars spent on migrants balloons, and a record backlog of 3.5 million immigration court cases pile up.

President Joe Biden is hemorrhaging support from a historically pro-Democrat voting bloc. The latest I&I/TIPP Poll published this week suggests that 59% of black voters favor Biden over his Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump. In 2020, a staggering 87% of black voters supported Biden, representing a drop of nearly 30 percentage points over the past four years.

President Joe Biden's southern border crisis, which has brought almost 10 million illegal immigrants into the country, already has the American people on edge. Unsure of who these people are and where many of them come from, countless lawmakers have sought to pressure Biden into taking executive action to secure the border. Amid rising crime in the U.S., overwhelmed public facilities, and increased taxpayer dollars funding migrant housing, food, education, and health care, the president recently unveiled a plan to bring Gazan refugees into the U.S. - a proposal that's been met with extreme scrutiny.

The Boy Scouts are causing controversy with their decision to rebrand, all in the name of "inclusivity." On Wednesday, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) announced that the organization will officially change its name to "Scouting America." The BSA explained that this change reflects "the organization's ongoing commitment to welcome every youth and family in America to experience the benefits of Scouting."

Miguel Cardona likes to brag about his two and half decades of experience, but on Tuesday, it was the Education secretary who got schooled. Barely two minutes into the House hearing, Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), had already called for the Biden official's resignation and declared, "If I were to grade your time as secretary, I would give you an F." And that was probably kind, considering the reviews that followed on everything from the student loan bailouts to the anti-Semitic riots on college campuses.
