FRC Action PAC Endorses Johnny Teague for the U.S. House of Representatives in Texas

Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Johnny Teague in his race for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 9th District of Texas.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:

“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. From meeting with you, evaluating your record, and speaking with those who know you, we believe you will be such a leader. You understand the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.

As a minister of the Gospel, you have a unique understanding of the issues people face daily. As a pastor, religious freedom is essential for you to effectively live out your calling, and you have witnessed firsthand the government’s attempts to infringe upon this sacred right. You also understand that strong families create successful societies and that many of our current problems can be traced to the breakdown of this fundamental unit. Furthermore, as a faithful student of the Word, you recognize that life is created in the image of God and that it must be protected from conception until natural death. We know your commitment to these values will serve you well if elected to Congress.

FRC Action PAC is confident that you will be a dedicated advocate for life, freedom, and strong family values. You are the leader that Texas needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of your candidacy for Congress. Together we will create a culture in which human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives,” concluded Boykin.
