It's easy to tell this is an election year just by looking at FRC's calendar! Our experts have been racking up the miles these last few months, speaking, rallying, and writing their way across the country. This weekend, our team is spread out over two major events in D.C. and Florida. Ken Blackwell is joining both of them -- first at CPAC, where he did 12 interviews on media and radio row on everything from the radical transformation of the Supreme Court and the fragile GOP to replacing Obamacare.
From there, Ken joins us at The Awakening 2016 in Orlando, where he'll participate in two panels: "Civil Resistance -- When Man's Laws Conflict with God's Laws" and "Israel, Iran, and the Middle East" along with FRC's Lt. General Jerry Boykin (U.S. Army-Ret.). FRC's Travis Weber picks up at CPAC where Ken left off on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in Chesapeake Room 6 for a discussion with the Becket Fund's Ashley McGuire called, "My Bible, My Choice: The State of Religious Liberty."
Not to be outdone, our Church Ministries team, led by Dr. Kenyn Cureton, headed up a jam-packed Florida Pastors Awakening Summit earlier today with more than 500 church leaders. I spoke this morning and am now headed to a non-FRC event in my home state of Louisiana prior to Saturday's presidential primary.
