FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Ben Cline for Congress in Virginia's 6th District

Washington, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Ben Cline for the U.S. House of Representatives in Virginia's 6th Congressional District.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:

"During Ben Cline's tenure in the Virginia House of Delegates, he has been a stalwart defender of the sanctity of life. He has sponsored legislation that prevents taxpayer dollars from being used to fund abortion and abortion clinics as well as legislation supporting life at conception. If elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, we believe he will continue to be a staunch protector of the unborn.

"He has also been a firm supporter of religious liberty during his time in the state legislature. In 2011, he cosponsored a joint resolution that would have submitted a constitutional amendment to voters upholding the free exercise of religion in Virginia. In 2012, he supported a bill that protected the right of faith-based adoption agencies to operate in accordance with their religious convictions. If elected to Congress, we believe that he will carry this same fighting spirit for religious liberty with him to Washington.

"FRC Action PAC is confident that Ben Cline will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, individual liberties, and strong family values. He's proven that he is the leader that Virginia needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy for election to the U.S. House of Representatives," concluded Boykin.
