LATEST NEWS

On Tuesday, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration announced that it would be reclassifying marijuana as a less dangerous drug. Experts say the move further confuses the legal status of the drug and does not acknowledge the serious health risks associated with its use that have already been established and continue to come to light.

Though perhaps not so fraught as the War of 1812's Battle of Baltimore, the episode at Chapel Hill is nonetheless indicative of a fundamental truth that secular American society has, for decades, been trying to suppress: men must be men, for the good of the nation, for the good of families, for the good of civilization. The feminist myth of "toxic masculinity" has cowed and emasculated generations of men, with catastrophic effects on Western civilization.

If you watched the legacy media outlets this past week, you would think the news revolved around "mostly peaceful" campus protests, Donald Trump's courtroom, and the barrel of Kristi Noem's shotgun. Important as (most of) these stories are, numerous other significant stories took place this week that received far too little coverage. Here are a few.

Compromise didn't use to be a dirty word in Congress. There was a time, not too long ago, when Americans wanted the two parties to try to work together. Now, according to Republicans, it's grounds to lose your job. This is the bizarre conundrum Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) finds himself in thanks to the irrational wing of the GOP - who, despite holding a whisper-thin majority, expect their leader to somehow call the shots with only a third of Washington's power levers.

College campuses escalated their efforts to root out pro-Hamas occupations on Tuesday, with police arresting more than 430 people on nine different college campuses. Police have made more than 1,600 arrests in connection with the disruptive, illegal campus occupations since the first one began at Columbia University on April 19, according to an investigation by The Washington Stand. Disturbingly, some universities are beginning to cave to protestors' demands to restore order to campus, even as campus protests become increasingly dominated by non-students.

In the wake of a Chinese Foreign Ministry official threatening retaliation against the U.S. for providing military aid to Taiwan, a U.S. senator is warning that the Biden administration is sleeping at the wheel while China is playing a long game to ultimately usurp the U.S. as the world's superpower.
