FRC Action PAC Endorses Rep. Steve King for Congress in Iowa

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) in the race for re-election in Congress to represent Iowa's 4th Congressional District.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin commented:

"These are challenging times. Our nation needs leaders who address the most difficult issues head-on. Steve King's record proves he is just such a leader.

"We commend his work to repeal Obamacare, to defend religious liberty, to ensure the American people are not forced to subsidize elective abortion, and to end taxpayers' government-mandated partnership with Planned Parenthood.

"As a consistent FRC Action 'True Blue' candidate, Rep. King has proven he will continue to defend the Constitution and the rule of law. He understands that Big Government is not the answer to America's challenges, and has supported reigning in an intrusive government bureaucracy. We commend his commitment to our First Amendment liberties, the right of conscience, and our freedom to live out our beliefs.

"FRC Action PAC is confident that Rep. King will continue to be a strong advocate for individual liberties, strong family values, and limited government. We are pleased to join the multiple conservative leaders who have already offered him their endorsement, and urge those who care about the future of our nation and our freedoms to do the same," Boykin concluded.
