FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Ron DeSantis for Governor of Florida

Washington, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Ron DeSantis for Governor of Florida.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:

“This is a critical hour for our country, and Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to stand strong for faith, family, and freedom. We are confident Ron DeSantis will continue to be such a leader.

“During Mr. DeSantis’s time in Congress, he was a dedicated advocate for life and religious freedom. He stood for life by co-sponsoring the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act and the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act numerous times. He also moved to end taxpayers’ forced subsidization of Planned Parenthood as well as the use of taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions. If elected to serve as Governor of Florida, we know he will continue this important work.

“Before going to Congress, Mr. DeSantis served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy as a JAG officer in Guantanamo Bay and Iraq. Through his leadership and service, he has demonstrated his commitment to the values that made this nation great. We believe these experiences will serve him well if elected to serve as Governor.

“FRC Action PAC is confident that Ron DeSantis will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. He is the leader that Florida needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy. Together, we will create a culture in which all human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives,” concluded Boykin.
