FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Rick Laib for Illinois House of Representatives

WASHINGTON, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Rick Laib for the Illinois House of Representatives in the 86th District.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:

“Unlike many politicians in Springfield, Rick Laib has truly dedicated himself to public service. We are grateful for his service to our country in the United States Army Reserves and his continued service to his community as a sergeant with the Will County Sheriff’s Office. We believe that he will continue to serve his community, state, and nation if elected to the Illinois House of Representatives.

“We especially appreciate Rick’s commitment to life, family, and religious liberty. He has shown a strong desire to protect the religious freedom of health care and adoption providers, churches, pastors, and teachers to live out their deeply-held religious convictions without fear of government reprisal. We also salute his defense of the unborn and his call to protect the conscience rights of taxpayers by eliminating government funding of abortion.

“As a native of Joliet, Illinois, Rick has a unique understanding of the issues facing his district. We believe that he will stand up for Illinois families by promoting family-friendly tax reform and removing the government as a middleman in healthcare.

“FRC Action PAC is confident that he will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. He is the leader that Illinois needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of Rick Laib’s candidacy for election to the Illinois House of Representatives,” concluded Boykin.
