FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Greg Gianforte for Governor of Montana
Washington, D.C. - FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Greg Gianforte for election to Governor of Montana.
FRC Action President Tony Perkins commented:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. We believe that the right to life is the most fundamental of all human rights, and that the family is the foundation of all societies. We believe also that religious liberty is the bedrock of any prosperous nation, and because it is under unprecedented attack, we must elect candidates who will stand in defense of this first freedom. Greg’s time in the U.S. House of Representatives has established him as a leader who will vigorously defend these principles.
“During his time in Congress, Greg has proven to be a stalwart advocate of these values in numerous ways. He has supported the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act which would protect babies who survive a botched abortion. He has also voted for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act which would prevent abortions after 5 months – the point at which science confirms the unborn can feel excruciating pain. He has stood up for religious liberty by voting against the deceptively named ‘Equality Act,’ as well as voting in favor of conscience protections and the ability of Americans to live out deeply-held religious beliefs.
