WASHINGTON, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Cam Cavasso for election to the U.S. House of Representatives in Hawaii's 1st Congressional District.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. We believe that the right to life is the most fundamental of all human rights. If it is undermined, all our other rights are in jeopardy. We also believe that the family is the foundation of all societies. When this unit disintegrates, so does the nation. Likewise, we believe that religious liberty is the bedrock of any prosperous nation. Religious liberty is under unprecedented attack, and as such, it’s critical that we elect candidates who will stand for this first freedom.
“For over three decades, Cam Cavasso has been a tenacious defender of life, family, and religious liberty in a state that has proved to be consistently liberal. Among other things, he has called for banning abortions after 20 weeks, repealing the unconstitutional Johnson Amendment, defunding Planned Parenthood, protecting the religious freedom of organizations and individuals, and fighting for bathroom safety. If elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, we believe he will continue to lead the fight on these issues for Hawaii.
“We greatly admire the stand Cam has taken in Hawaii. FRC Action PAC is proud to stand with him and is confident that he will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. Cam Cavasso is the leader that Hawaii needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy for election to the U.S. House of Representatives,” concluded Boykin.
