FRC Action PAC Endorses Alex Mooney for Congress (WV-2)

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, FRC Action PAC, the political action committee affiliated with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Alex Mooney for Congress. Tony Perkins, chairman of FRC Action PAC, offered the following statement:

"These are challenging times. Our economy has been decimated. The culture has been challenged beyond all reasonable limits. The strong, conservative men and women elected in 2010 and 2012 need reinforcements. That is why we are endorsing Alex Mooney in his run to represent West Virginia's second district.

"Alex Mooney compiled a consistent record while in the Maryland State Senate on the issues of the family. His votes on the life issue reflect his concern for mother and child. His support for marriage as the union of one man and one woman is strongly supported by the people living in the second district," concluded Perkins.

PAC President Connie Mackey stated:

"We are confident that Alex Mooney will be a strong advocate for limited government, for individual liberties and for family values. I am pleased to offer our PAC's endorsement."

FRC Action PAC is the political action committee connected to FRC Action, a 501(c)(4) membership organization. FRC Action is the legislative advocacy arm of the Family Research Council, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Paid for by Family Research Council Action PAC ( and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
