FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Jonathan Davis for Louisiana House of Representatives
Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Jonathan Davis in his race for Louisiana House of Representatives in the 71st District.
FRC Action PAC President Tony Perkins issued the following endorsement:
“As you well know, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to stand strong for faith, family, and freedom. After evaluating your positions, speaking with you, and talking to those who know you, we believe you will be just such a leader. You understand that faith is the bedrock of both Livingston Parish and our great nation, and that the protection of this first freedom is essential to the prosperity of both.
“You also recognize the critical need to protect human life, particularly in an era where increasingly extreme bills target the unborn for abortion up until the moment of birth. You have demonstrated an especially strong commitment to protecting the right to life in Louisiana. As a private citizen, you strongly supported SB 184, better known as the “Heartbeat Bill.” You have also pledged to support and author pro-life legislation, including banning infanticide.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that you will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for traditional values, and for common sense. As a former member of the Louisiana legislature, and now a citizen of our state, I am very aware that Louisiana needs leadership like yours, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of your candidacy for election to the state senate,” concluded Perkins.
