FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Edith Carlin for Louisiana State Senate
Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Edith Carlin in her race for the Louisiana Senate in the 13th District.
FRC Action PAC President Tony Perkins issued the following endorsement:
“Louisiana needs someone with the experience, the education, and the ethics to seek non-traditional solutions to its problems. After evaluating your positions, speaking with you, and talking to those who know you, we believe you will be just such a leader. District 13 is ready for a true conservative with real-world experience and traditional values to represent them in the Capitol – and you’ve indicated that you’re a leader who will stand strong for the values your constituents cherish.
“You were a strong supporter of SB 184, better known as the ‘Heartbeat Bill,’ and have made the protection of the unborn a bedrock of your campaign. As a pastor for 17 years, you have gained experience ministering to those in need while developing a lasting relationship with the constituents in your district. Your wealth of business experience gives you a unique perspective on economic prosperity and the know-how to get things done. You’re an advocate for smarter, smaller government, and as an engineer, understand full well the importance of your state’s infrastructure. We believe the sum of your experience will serve you well in the Louisiana Senate.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that you will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. As a former member of the Louisiana legislature, and now a citizen of our state, I am very aware that Louisiana needs leadership like yours, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of your candidacy for election to the state senate,” concluded Perkins.
