WASHINGTON, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Rep. Scott Perry for election to the U.S. House of Representatives for Pennsylvania’s newly-created 10th Congressional District.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. We believe that the right to life is the most fundamental of all human rights, and likewise believe that the family is the foundation of all societies. We also believe that religious liberty is the bedrock of any prosperous nation, and because it is under unprecedented attack, we believe it is critical to elect candidates who will stand for this first freedom. We believe Rep. Scott Perry is just such a candidate.
“During Scott’s three terms in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives he established a record of protecting taxpayers’ interests and continued to do so in Congress. As a veteran of the U.S. Army myself, I’ve particularly noted his impressive military record, his degree from the U.S. Army War College, and his ultimate promotion to the rank of Brigadier General. He’s made clear his dedication to the safety of our nation’s borders and his commitment to the care of our veterans. We commend his devotion to the sanctity of life, including voting to block taxpayer funding for abortion and defund Planned Parenthood, and supporting the Born Alive Infant Survivors Protection Act. He’s worked to create jobs and tax cuts for Pennsylvanians and has opposed the federal takeover of healthcare through Obamacare. For these and other positions, he’s been a recipient of FRC Action’s True Blue award, and we are certain his congressional record will continue to serve his constituents well.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that Rep. Scott Perry will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. He is the leader that Pennsylvania needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy for election to Congress,” concluded Boykin.
