FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor for Governor of Ohio
Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Lt. Governor Mary Taylor in the race for governor of Ohio.
FRC Action President, Tony Perkins commented:
“As Lieutenant Governor, Mary Taylor has led the fight to oppose Obamacare in the state and make the healthcare marketplace more competitive and patient friendly. If elected Governor, we believe she will continue to stand for these same principles.
“During Lt. Gov. Taylor’s tenure as a state representative, she was a strong defender of family values and the right to life. She demonstrated needed leadership by co-sponsoring legislation in the Ohio House of Representatives that would have protected the lives of unborn children. With abortions in Ohio now at a 40-year low, we are confident that she will continue to build a culture of life if elected Governor.
"As a state representative, she put principle above politics by standing against members of her own party and opposing tax increases on the people of Ohio. Recognizing that the family is the most fundamental institution of a society, she has presented a plan to fight the drug epidemic in Ohio that is ripping families apart.
"FRC Action PAC is confident that Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor will be a principled advocate for Constitutional limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. We believe she and her running mate Nathan Estruth will provide the leadership Ohio needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of her candidacy for Governor,” concluded Perkins.
