Anthony Blinken - Secretary of State

Blinken has a history of public service, having previously served as the Deputy Secretary of State under the Obama administration. Prior to that he served for six years as the Democratic Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee. During his time in Congress and various administration positions, he has worked heavily in foreign policy and in supporting anti-life and anti-family policies. Blinken was confirmed as Secretary of State on January 26, 2021 by a vote of 78-22.
Views on Abortion:
- In a House Foreign Affairs Committee Hearing on Biden's foreign policy priorities, Blinken championed Biden's actions to repeal the Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance Policy which prohibits global health funds from subsidizing abortion businesses abroad (See link)
