FRC Action PAC Endorses Sen. Steve Daines for U.S. Senate in Montana
Washington, D.C. - FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Senator Steve Daines for reelection to the U.S. Senate in Montana.
FRC Action PAC President Tony Perkins issued the following endorsement:
"Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. From working with Steve on Capitol Hill and evaluating his record as a legislator, we are confident he will continue to be such a leader. Steve understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.
"During his time in Congress, Steve has been a stalwart defender of life, family, and religious freedom. On the matter of life, Steve co-sponsored critical pieces of legislation like the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act. He also started the first pro-life caucus in U.S. Senate history. Additionally, Steve has been a strong advocate for the traditional family throughout his legislative career. And on the issue of religious freedom, Steve has been a defender of this right for those both at home and abroad. Most recently, he co-sponsored the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act to bring light to the growing religious persecution in China. Furthermore, as a True Blue Senator, Steve has demonstrated his bona fide conservative credentials by scoring a 100% on our FRC Action Scorecard every year in the Senate. We know that he will continue this strong legacy of defending our shared values if re-elected to the U.S. Senate.
"FRC Action PAC is confident that Steve will be a dedicated advocate for life, freedom, and strong family values. He is the leader that Montana needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy for re-election to the U.S. Senate. Together we will create a culture in which human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives," concluded Perkins.
