FRC Action PAC Endorses Chip Roy for U.S. House of Representatives in Texas
Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Chip Roy for the U.S. House of Representatives in Texas’s 21st District.
FRC Action PAC President Tony Perkins issued the following endorsement:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who are willing to stand firm for faith, family, and freedom. We believe that the right to life, the strength of families, and the free exercise of religion are bedrock values for any prosperous nation. Now more than ever, we believe that it is critical to elect candidates who will stand for these principles. During your time in the U.S. House and as a member of the House Freedom Caucus, you have consistently proven yourself to be just such a leader.
“During your first term in the U.S. House, you have established yourself as a genuine conservative who has kept his promises. We commend your devotion to the sanctity of life, including voting to block taxpayer funding for abortions. You have voted to protect religious liberty and have opposed the implementation of social engineering in the military that would weaken military readiness. As a former federal prosecutor, former chief of staff to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), and former senior counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, your professional expertise has served you well and will no doubt continue to do so.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that you will continue to be a dedicated advocate for strong national freedoms and strong family values. You are the leader that Texas needs, and we are more than pleased to offer our endorsement of your candidacy for re-election to Congress for the 21st Congressional District of Texas,” concluded Perkins.
