FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Melanie Leneghan to U.S. Congress
Washington, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Melanie Leneghan for the United States House of Representatives in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin commented:
"As a native Ohioan, Melanie Leneghan understands the issues that are important to constituents of the 12th District. During her time as a Liberty Township Trustee, she has consistently stood up for the taxpayers by opposing any measure that would squander their hard-earned money. We believe she will take this same fighting spirit and commitment to principle to Washington, D.C. and be a strong advocate for the people.
“By her example, Mrs. Leneghan has also demonstrated her commitment to life and family. She understands that more Big Government is not the answer to the problems our nation is facing and we applaud her commitment to protecting the most fundamental unit of society—the family. If elected to Congress, we believe that she will be a strong ally as we seek the full repeal of Obamacare as well as ending taxpayers’ forced partnership with Planned Parenthood.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that Melanie Leneghan will be a principled advocate for Constitutional limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. Once again, we are pleased to offer our endorsement of her candidacy," Boykin concluded.
