FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Scott Sturgill for U.S. Congress
Washington, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Scott Sturgill for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 7th Congressional District.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin commented:
“A native of Seminole County, Scott Sturgill has a unique perspective on the issues facing constituents in the 7th District. As a businessman, he understands firsthand the bureaucracy and red tape entrepreneurs face when starting and operating a business. He has been a vocal opponent of government waste and high taxes. If elected to Congress, we believe he will continue to be a strong advocate for the people of the 7th District.
“Mr. Sturgill also voiced strong support for life and religious freedom. From speaking with him and evaluating his positions, we are encouraged by his commitment to protecting the most vulnerable among us and defending our fundamental freedoms.
“If elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, FRC Action PAC is confident that Scott Sturgill will be a principled advocate for Constitutional limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. He is the leader that Florida needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy,” concluded Boykin.
