FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Rep. Robert Pittenger to U.S. Congress
Washington, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Rep. Robert Pittenger for the U. S. House of Representatives in North Carolina's 9th Congressional District.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin commented:
"In his three terms of service in the United States House, Rep. Pittenger has been a great advocate for conservative principles. He has consistently received a 100% rating on our annual Scorecard as we have tracked and scored important votes impacting faith, family, and freedom.
"As a member of Congress, Rep. Pittenger has voted to repeal Obamacare, to defend religious liberty and fundamental conscience protections, to ensure the American people are not forced to subsidize elective abortion, and to end taxpayers' government-mandated partnership with Planned Parenthood.
"Rep. Pittenger understands that Big Government is not the answer to the challenges we are facing, and he has supported reigning in an intrusive government bureaucracy. He also understands that protecting family values is critical.
"FRC Action PAC is confident that Rep. Pittenger will be a strong advocate for constitutional limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. Once again, we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy," Boykin concluded.
