FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of David Ellis for Louisiana State Representative
Washington, D.C. - FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing David Ellis in his race for the Louisiana House of Representatives in District 89.
FRC Action PAC President Tony Perkins issued the following endorsement:
"On behalf of FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, I am pleased to announce our endorsement of your candidacy for election to the Louisiana House of Representatives in District 89.
"After evaluating your positions, speaking with you, and talking to those who know you, we believe you will be a champion of pro-family, pro-life policies in Baton Rouge. America needs leaders who will stand firm in the face of opposition, and we’re encouraged by your promise to honor the constitution, fight for fiscal responsibility, and protect the family and the policies that support it.
"You have demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting life, family, and religious freedom. If elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives, you have pledged to end abortion, protect women and children in public restrooms, and fight for the rights of employers to operate their business or organization according to their deeply held religious convictions. We believe you will be a strong advocate for these causes if elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives.
"As a city councilman in Mandeville, you have gained a unique understanding of the issues facing your constituents. You worked to lower taxes, improve infrastructure, and support police and first responders. We believe the close connection to your community will serve you well in the Louisiana House of Representatives.
"FRC Action PAC is confident that you will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. As a former member of the Louisiana legislature, and now a citizen of our state, I am very aware that Louisiana needs leadership like yours, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of your candidacy for election to the house of representatives."
