FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Chip Roy for Congress
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Chip Roy for United States Congress in the 21st Congressional District of the state of Texas.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin commented:
“Much is at stake during these formidable times, and our nation requires bold leaders of unwavering conviction. From speaking with those who know Chip Roy and observing his record of conservative policy successes, we believe he will be just such a leader in the United States Congress.
“His experience standing with Senator Ted Cruz to defund Obamacare, combatting crime as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, and fighting alongside Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to defend Texas’ pro-life laws proves that he is a leader who will prioritize the welfare of the people.
“His work advising former Governor Rick Perry on a conservative Texas budget and defending the 10th Amendment has shown his understanding of true conservatism as a genuine commitment to limited constitutional government and the unlimited freedom it creates.
“We are encouraged by Chip’s understanding of the sustained assault on religious liberty, and his desire to enhance religious liberty protections in the future through appropriate legislation.
