FRC Action PAC Endorses Rep. Virginia Foxx for U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina
Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Rep. Virginia Foxx for U.S. House of Representatives for the 5th District of North Carolina.
FRC Action President Jody Hice issued the following statement:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. After working with Rep. Virginia Foxx for many years we know her to be such a leader. She understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation. We are confident that she will be a voice for these values.
“Rep. Foxx’s tenure in Congress has been marked by support for the unborn, as evidenced by her support for pro-life legislation like the Born-Alive Abortion Survivor’s Protection Act, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, and more. A recent example of her strong support for the unborn, was the success of your amendment to the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2024 (H.R. 4665) to prohibit taxpayer funds from paying for U.S. State Department employees to travel and attend conferences held by the pro-abortion Clinton Global Initiative. She has also been a strong voice in support of parental rights and religious freedom, earning an impressive 99% lifetime score on FRC Action’s scorecard.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that Rep. Foxx will be a dedicated advocate for our freedoms and strong family values. She is the leader that North Carolina needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of her candidacy to represent the people of North Carolina’s 5th Congressional District in the U.S House of Representatives.”
