FRC Action PAC Encourages Support of Pro-Life Cindy Hyde-Smith in Mississippi Senate Runoff

WASHINGTON, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Cindy Hyde-Smith for election to the United States Senate for the state of Mississippi.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:

“This is a critical hour for our country, and Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to stand strong for faith, family, and freedom. We believe Cindy Hyde-Smith will be such a leader. She understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.

“In the Mississippi State Senate, Cindy established a voting record dedicated to protecting the rights of small business and property owners, preventing burdensome government regulations, and championing conservative values. During her time in the U.S. Senate, she received a 100% score on our scorecard and has consistently taken positions defending foundational American principles. She has voted to confirm good nominees to the Judicial and Executive Branches, defended conscience rights, and protected taxpayers from being forced to subsidize Planned Parenthood - our nation’s largest abortion provider. We are pleased to see she has established herself as a leader who is not swayed by special interests and the whims of political correctness.

“FRC Action PAC is confident that Cindy Hyde-Smith will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. We are pleased to offer our endorsement of her candidacy. Together, we can create a culture in which human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives,” concluded Boykin.
