FRC Action PAC Endorses Leon Benjamin for U.S. House of Representatives in Virginia
FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Leon Benjamin in his race for the 4th District of the U.S. House of Representatives in Virginia.
FRC Action Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. From meeting with Leon, evaluating his record, and speaking with those who know him, we believe he will be such a leader. Leon understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.
“As a pastor and mentor, Leon has a unique perspective of the issues people face daily. He understands that strong families create successful societies and that many of our current problems can be traced to the breakdown of this fundamental unit. In the last few years, Leon has been privileged to become part of a group of advisors to President Trump, working on important issues. Furthermore, he has led several evangelical groups to pray faithfully for our nation and advance conservative values.
“As a Navy combat veteran from the Gulf War, we recognize Leon’s heart to serve his nation and believe he will be a champion for religious freedom in the military. He has also demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting the most vulnerable among us, both the unborn and the elderly. We believe Leon’s unique combination of life experiences and commitment to conservative values have prepared him to serve as the next U.S. Representative from Virginia’s 4th Congressional District.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that Leon will be a dedicated advocate for life, freedom, and strong family values. He is the leader that Virginia needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy for Congress. Together we will create a culture in which human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives,” concluded Boykin.
