FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Mary Beth Carozza for Maryland State Senate

Washington, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Mary Beth Carozza for election to the Maryland State Senate in the 38th District.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:

“This is a critical hour for our country and Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to stand strong for faith, family, and freedom. During Mary Beth Carozza’s time in the Maryland House of Delegates, she stood for life by voting against taxpayer funding of abortions, opposing legislation that would legalize physician-assisted suicide, and cosponsoring legislation that would protect the unborn. She has also defended religious freedom by fighting to repeal Obamacare’s conscience violations. We believe she will continue to fight for these same issues in the Maryland State Senate.

“Throughout Mary Beth’s years of public service, she has worked at both the state and federal levels. Most notably, we recognize her service to our nation on September 11, 2001, when she helped keep communications open with Capitol Hill while working in the Defense Department at the Pentagon. This spirit of service embodies the values that have made this nation great and will serve her well in the Maryland State Senate.

“FRC Action PAC is confident that Mary Beth Carozza will be a dedicated advocate for limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. She is the leader that Maryland needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of her candidacy for election to the State Senate in the 38th District. Together, we will create a culture in which human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives,” concluded Boykin.
