FRC Action PAC Endorses John Kennedy for United States Senate
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing John Kennedy for United States Senate for the state of Louisiana.
FRC Action President, Tony Perkins, commented:
“These are challenging times and our nation is looking for leaders who are committed to not just talking about the important issues, but actually addressing them. I am encouraged that John Kennedy has committed to be such a leader.
“One of the most important issues facing the next U.S. Senate is the matter of the Supreme Court. Our next President will appoint at least one Supreme Court Justice. Many believe that the number could be as many as four justice appointees over the President’s term. We need justices on our Supreme Court who will respect the Constitution and apply the law as written, not legislate from the bench. Our endorsement is based in part upon John Kennedy’s commitment to support and confirm such justices.
“John Kennedy understands that Big Government is not the answer to the challenges we are facing and he supports reigning in an intrusive government bureaucracy. John has committed to work to repeal and replace Obamacare and fight to put Americans’ healthcare in the hands of the people, not the hands of the government. We also appreciate John’s commitment to protect the unborn and the right to life for all Americans.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that John Kennedy will be an advocate for Constitutional limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. Once again, we are pleased to offer our endorsement and will urge those who care about the future of our nation and our freedoms to support John Kennedy as well,” concluded Perkins.
