FRC Action PAC Endorses John Cornyn for U.S. Senate in Texas
Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing John Cornyn in his race for U.S. Senate in Texas.
FRC Action PAC President Tony Perkins issued the following endorsement:

In this critical hour, Americans are looking for leaders who are willing to defend these values. From working with Sen. Cornyn and evaluating his record, we believe he will be such a leader. Sen. Cornyn understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.
“During his time in the U.S. Senate, Sen. Cornyn has compiled a proven track record standing for our shared values. On the issue of life, he has led by co-sponsoring legislation such as the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act. Sen. Cornyn has also been a strong supporter of family and religious liberty by co-sponsoring legislation such as the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act, which protects the right of faith-based adoption agencies to operate according to their deeply-held religious convictions. Furthermore, his service on the Senate Judiciary Committee has been critical to confirming strict constitutionalist judges to the federal courts. We believe Sen. Cornyn will continue to lead on these issues if re-elected.
