FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Rep. Doug Lamborn for Re-Election to U.S. Congress
Washington, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action is endorsing Rep. Doug Lamborn for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in Colorado’s 5th District.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin commented:
“As a U.S. Congressman, Rep. Doug Lamborn has been a stalwart defender of faith, family, and freedom. Since his first election to Congress in 2006, he has been an FRC Action “True Blue” member, scoring 100% on our scorecards for each session. His support for the sanctity of life, family values, and religious liberty has not gone unnoticed.
“As reflected on our scorecard, we appreciate Rep. Lamborn’s vote in favor of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act which would ban abortion after five months (the point at which science confirms the unborn can feel pain), his vote to end taxpayers’ forced partnership with abortion giant Planned Parenthood, his vote in support of the No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act, his vote to repeal Obamacare and Obamacare’s Independent Payment Advisory Board which would result in government healthcare rationing, and his vote to eliminate numerous marriage penalties from the tax code as well as repeal the death tax – both of which were part of the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act. He has also been a strong advocate for families and religious freedom by co-sponsoring the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act and the Conscience Protection Act, among other important legislation.
