FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Former State Sen. Russ Fulcher to U.S. Congress

Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing former State Sen. Russ Fulcher for the United States House of Representatives in Idaho's 1st Congressional District.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin commented:

"As a lifelong Idahoan, Sen. Fulcher understand the issues that are important to the constituents of the 1st District. During his tenure as a state senator, Sen. Fulcher fought relentlessly to lower taxes, reduce government waste and regulation, and protect life and religious freedom. We especially appreciate his effort to oppose Obamacare in Idaho, his vote to prohibit abortion after 20 weeks (a point at which science confirms the unborn can feel pain), and his support for the conscience rights of health care professionals. We believe that Sen. Fulcher will take these same objectives to Washington.

"In both his professional and political career, Sen. Fulcher has proven himself to be a leader who is not afraid of a challenge. This leadership quality is greatly needed in Washington today if we are to implement policies and pass legislation protecting faith, family, and freedom. If elected to Congress, we believe Sen. Fulcher will be a strong defender of these values.

"FRC Action PAC is confident that Sen. Fulcher will be a principled advocate for Constitutional limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. We are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy," Boykin concluded.
