FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Dr. Tony Campbell for U.S. Senate
WASHINGTON, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Dr. Tony Campbell for the United States Senate for the state of Maryland.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:
“As a university professor in the field of political theory and metropolitan studies, Dr. Tony Campbell has a rich understanding of the principles of federalism and how a constitutional republic ought to rightly operate. It’s also clear he has a thorough plan to enable all Marylanders to reach their highest potential through local control of education, and programs geared toward economic freedom and personal liberty.
“As a 36-year veteran of the U.S. Army, I am particularly impressed with Dr. Campbell’s work as a chaplain in the Armed Forces, and his commitment to both the religious liberty of our service members and the security of our nation through immigration reform and sound foreign policy. Likewise, as a conservative author on the Constitution and a seminary graduate, he recognizes that the First Amendment is under constant assault, and that religious liberty must not be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. His message of free markets, job opportunity, the sanctity of life, and constitutional values is a much-needed change from that of Maryland’s long-standing incumbent in the U.S. Senate.
“After reviewing his platform and speaking with him personally, FRC Action PAC is confident that if elected to the U.S. Senate, he will be a principled advocate for limited government, individual liberties, and strong family values. Dr. Tony Campbell is the leader that Maryland needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy,” concluded Boykin.
