FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Atty. Gen. Patrick Morrisey for U.S. Senate
WASHINGTON, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Attorney General Patrick Morrisey for the United States Senate for West Virginia.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:
“As West Virginia’s first Republican Attorney General since 1933, Patrick Morrisey has proven to be a conservative advocate for Mountain State families and taxpayers. We are confident that he will do an excellent job championing faith, family, and freedom as Joe Manchin’s replacement.
“Atty. Gen. Morrisey’s conservative record precedes his service as West Virginia’s Attorney General. As a private attorney, he stood up against then-President Obama’s healthcare law by joining a lawsuit challenging its constitutionality. As a leader who fought Obama’s anti-family, anti-freedom agenda, his work as Attorney General not only stopped that Administration’s war on religious freedom, but also led to the passage of important pro-life legislation such as West Virginia’s Pain-Capable law. For these reasons and more, his colleagues named him the national chair of the Republican Attorneys General Association.
